I think the fastest way to learn modeling is… modeling.
“Learn by doing” – that is what I want to say. This is kind of article that shows step by step how to make 3d model. It is really long but it hope You will find it usefull. In this tutorial I will show You how to model some simple object.

Let’s make some example. I’ve looked around on my desk and I found this:
Firstly we need to decide which view will be our main view. And what contains the most important informations.
Both view are important, but front view includes the most important element – face of the clock. Everything else is dependent on it. I really don’t know this program yet, but I see that everything what we need today is under those three icons.
Our first sketch will define us size of clock face. Also that sketch will define us the rest of dimensions.
